Trainers face retention

An executive from Woodbine Entertainment Group confirmed with Trot Insider Friday afternoon that any new trainers who receive a positive test for Aminorex would have to race out of retention.

It is believed there has been another positive test for Aminorex, however, Trot Insider has not been able to receive confirmation from the Ontario Racing Commission.

"If that's correct, then we will treat it the same way we are treating all the other Aminorex positives," Jamie Martin, WEG's senior vice president of racing, told Trot Insider. (Standardbred Canada)
