Trotter was the chosen one at Dover

Chosen Voyageur proved much the best cruising to a 1:54 victory in the $21,000 feature trot at Dover Downs on Wednesday.
 
With meet leading driver Corey Callahan at the controls, Chosen Voyageur took command just before reach the quarter and then raced easily in front to win by five lengths in the week's feature trot. Tamara Williams and trainer Dylan Davis own the veteran Balanced Image-Ms. Vic gelding, a winner of two of his four starts this year. Black Tie rolled down the passing lane for George Dennis to edge fast-finishing Impel Hanover (Jim King) for second-place honors.
 
Lease On Jodine battled Calibrator N (Brad Hanners) along the backstretch before taking over for good on the last turn and proceeding to the finish line in 1:53.4 to give Jim Morand a driving double winning the $20,000 male claiming pace. Equinox Seelster (Ross Wolfenden) closed for second in front of Clarett (Roger Plante).
