TSM Photo Bugger used a powerful first-over move to swallow up the leader and go on to a facile victory in Tuesday's $22,500 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.
TSM Photo Bugger was sitting fourth down the backside when Mike Wilder sent him after the leader, Hava Kadabra. The 6-year-old S.J.'s Photo-Rewarding Wink gelding grabbed the lead in a matter of strides and drew off to score in 1:54.1, matching his career best. No Doze was a rallying second, five lengths back, while the pocket-sitting Fox Valley Smarty finished third.
Jan Fread trains TSM Photo Bugger, who extended his career bankroll to $249,523, for owner/breeder Ted Tomson.
Dave Palone drove five winners — three for trainer Ron Burke — on the 16-race card. (The Meadows)
