TVG questions answered

December 12, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Many guests and viewers of the Meadowlands harness racing signal have asked questions about the recent announcement that the NJSEA has entered into an exclusive simulcast agreement with TVG (Television Games Network). Here are the answers to some of those questions:

Is TVG the only place I can watch The Meadowlands?
Until Dec. 30, 2006, there is no change in any of the current Meadowlands racetrack's viewing platforms.

Will the Meadowlands streaming video on www.thebigm.com still be provided?
YES

Will Racing from the Meadowlands on Fox Sports New York still be shown?
YES

Will the Meadowlands live feed on RTN be shown?
Until Dec. 30 there is no change. Negotiations are taking place to continue the RTN feed but are not completed as of yet.

If I live outside of New Jersey and wish to wager legally on the Internet or by phone do I have to use TVG only?
No, TVG will offer wagering through its system to residents in states it accepts wagers. Other legal account wagering companies in the United States will make agreements with TVG to offer the Meadowlands. We will keep our guests posted on which companies enter into such agreements, but we expect most will make agreements with TVG to offer wagering on our races.
