World champion and two-time Breeders Crown champion Mystical Sunshine was purchased for $525,000 Friday at the Standardbred Horse Sale's mixed auction in Harrisburg, and the 3-year-old trotting filly Godiva Hall was hammered down for $285,000.

Peninsula Farm’s Carter Duer, acting as agent, signed the sales slip for Mystical Sunshine.

A 6-year-old daughter of Yankee Glide, Mystical Sunshine has career earnings of $1.79 million and a mark of 1:50.3 at The Red Mile while winning the Allerage Farms Mare Trot. She is the fastest older mare trotter in history on both a five-eighths and half-mile track, with a 1:52.4f score at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in an Open last May and a 1:53.2h clocking at Delaware, Ohio, while winning the Miss Versatility Series final.

Mystical Sunshine was trained by Chris Ryder and owned by Sid Korn and the estate of Alvin Jacobson, who died earlier this year. She was consigned by Bob Boni's Northwood Bloodstock.

Herb Liverman bought Godiva Hall, a 3-year-old filly trotter by Like A Prayer. The filly is entered to race in this weekend's Matron final at Dover Downs. HYe also had the final bid on Spice Queen at $230,000. The 3-year-old filly by Yankee Glide has a mark of 1:56 and is a full sister to Margarita Nights 3, 1:54.2.

Also, Hanover Shoe Farms purchased two notable pacing mares: Armbro Amoretto for $250,000 and Appleoosa Hanover for $225,000.
