Both Ireneonthemove [$2.10, $2.10, $2.10] and The Queen of Trash [$2.10, $2.10, $2.10] topped their separate $17,550 divisions of the Maryland Standardbred Race Fund for 3-year-old filly pacers at Rosecroft Raceway on Monday – the first with a wire-to-wire win and the latter with a tougher victory.

Ireneonthemove, a Powerful Toy filly owned by Rodney Wyatt, left alertly off of the gate with John Wagner at her lines. Driven through swift fractions of :27.1, :55.4 and 1:24.0, the filly topped the field by over two lengths with a mile time of 1:52.3. Ireneonthemove tied the Rosecroft track record for 3-year-old filly pacers with the win; Female Champs set the mark in 2004 with George Sholty in the sulky.

Trained by Jason Skinner, Ireneonthemove notched her third win of the year from four starts and increased her lifetime earnings to over $186,000.

In the second division, The Queen Of Trash came off of the gate from post four with trainer-driver Les Givens in the sulky. The talented daughter of Cam’s Card Shark failed to clear for the lead and was parked out through the early fractions of the race. Grinding up on the outside of the field through quarters of :28.4, :57.1 and 1:25.1, The Queen of Trash dropped in the pocket for a breather behind Winbak Isabella (John Wagner) late in the race. Mid-stretch, Givens tipped the filly out to draw away for the win in 1:54.

Owned by the partnership of Nanticoke Racing Inc., Brandon Givens and Donna Messick, The Queen of Trash now has five seasonal wins from seven starts and has banked $42,000 plus in lifetime earnings.
