Ultimate Bet lived up to her name, wining the $27,500 Mares Open Handicap pace on Tuesday at Dover Downs, while Pacific Illusion took the secondary feature $24,000 Mares Jr. Open. Tim Tetrick drove five winners.

In the feature, Ron Pierce drove Ultimate Bet for Three Point Acres of Broomall, Pa., to her third win of the year, holding off fast-finishing Hopefull N and Brandon Givens closing along the passing lane in a 1:51.2 victory. All About Winning led early for Tim Tetrick and settled for third.

Pacific Illusion, owned by Louie Paglieroni, Sharon White and trainer Wayne Givens, stepped up to the $24,000 Mares Jr. Open and won her second straight with Brandon Givens in the bike. I'm All In, piloted by Pierce, took second money while Ain't Goin Back and Ben Stafford Jr. finished third for the fifth time in her last six starts.

Carousel Frame, a 26-1 shot, barreled down the passing lane for owner-driver Ben Stafford Jr. to nail Nidya A (Jim Morand) at the wire in 1:52.4 to win a $17,500 Mares Winners-Over pace. It was the Dragon Again 4 year old's first win of the year. Maremma Hanover (Ross Wolfenden) was the third place finisher.

Ladyfield continued undefeated in her third straight winning start as Tony Morgan piloted the Illinois-bred 4 year old to a lifetime fastest 1:52.3 win for the Keeler's, Joyce, Kathleen and Linda, in another $17,500 Winners-Over pace. Jay Low (Roger Plante) won the photo for second with Donna's Girl (Brad Hanners) third.

Ross Wolfenden picked up his third win of the night coming from far back, driving Rodney Long and Tim Hundertpfund's Mapua Magic N to overtake the leaders and score a 1:54.2 triumph in a third $17,500 Mares Winners-Over pace. Humminbird M (Corey Callahan) at 54-1 had taken the lead early and led halfway down the lane before tiring to finish second. Lady Best (Roger Plante) came on for third.

Ross Wolfenden drove three winners while Tony Morgan and Ron Pierce had driving doubles. (Dover Downs)
