Ed Mullinax had the sale topper Up Front Bye Bye in his strong consignment of racehorsse. The Grand Circuit-placed 3-year-old Cantab Hall filly changes owners but not barns as Mark Ford signed the ticket for $51,000 on behalf of himself and George Bonomo.
The 5-year-old open pacing mare Up Front Cruiser from the same consignment went to Del S Miller of Pennsylvania on a $32,000 bid. The consignment also included the stakes-placed 3-year-old pacing fillies Up Front Miss Major and Up Front Sharon, who sold for $16,000 and $14,000, respectively.
Ohio-breds led the yearling section with Trainforthefuture's Rose Run Pancho going for $18,000 to Dee Hotton as agent and Rose Run Pauline for $17,000 to Steven Herres. John Scott Ezzo got the nod at $17,000 for the Feelin Friskie colt Hez A Buckeye, and Jim Arledge, Jr won the bid at $16,000 for the Chip Chip Hooray filly Majesty Dream. The sale ran for two long days with 833 horses cataloged, and it finished just as strong as it started with Open Indiana Trotter Skyway Cruiser selling for $19,000 just a few horses from the end.
