The U.S. Trotting Association has announced it is in search of financial support of an ambitious multi-media project that includes a reality TV show called "Starness" in which five aspiring models "will enter the horse and farmland of Kentucky to compete in a number of down-and-dirty athletic and lifestyle challenges, to ultimately prove which player has the most talent, passion and grit..."
In addition to Starness, which would be on the Versus network, the project would also include online episodes delivered by Comcast, exposure on Facebook, video teasers for social networking, and live events for select winning participants.
USTA officials Phil Langley, Ivan Axelrod and Mike Tanner call the project "a dynamic opportunity for a national TV show with the potential for dramatic impact in our sport."
