Mike Cassalino's Viking Defender began a three-win night for Corey Callahan and the first of two wins for trainer Dylan Davis Sunday at Dover Downs. The Muscles Yankee-Viking's Goddess 4 year old turned in a lifetime-best 1:56.3 decision to win a $12,500 trot. Pefect Man (Vic Kirby) was runner-up. Rapsong (George Dennis), the race favorite, had to settle for third.

Jim Morand drove Elmer Fannin and George Teague Jr. Inc.'s Art's Super Star to victory in a $12,600 Delaware male pace, one of three winning drives for Morand. The Artsplace-Candy Super Star colt sat alongside pacesetting Amerian Peace (Ross Wolfenden) from mid backstretch until deep in the lane before pulling away for his second straight and third win in five starts this year. Out Having Fun (Ben Stafford Jr.) was the third-place horse.

JVs Tank and Jon Roberts' first of two winning drives, chalked up a 1:53.3 triumph in a $12,600 pace. Wendy Crissman owns the Mach Three-JVs Jiffy 4 year old. Art Of Illusion (Art Stafford Jr.) just missed in second. Shark Tooth (Brandon Givens) was the show horse.

In one of the $20,000 claiming paces, Callahan notched his third win coming from off the pace in a Delaware event to score a 1:53.2 victory with Ron Davis' Battersby N. Knight Jasper N (Givens) was a neck away in second place. Rocket Laag (Roger Plante) led until mid stretch and held on for third.

Earlier, Callahan was a similar style winner guiding Ginfrombeertobeer to a 1:53 score for Warren Racing Stable and Dylan Davis. Ar Ed (Mike Cole) was a close second. Fun Fiesta (Morand) took third.

Almost the entire field was captured in the win photo when Donovan's Reef, with Mike Cole, won a $7,500 Delaware claiming pace in 1:56.2 with a series of heads separating six other finishers. (Dover Downs)
