Arty Foster Jr.'s Village Blitz ($7, Tony Morgan) earned his third straight win Monday in the $20,000 Open Pace at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.2.

The 8-year-old Village Jiffy gelding has been remarkably sharp of late, with four wins in his last five starts. Morgan and Village Blitz set all the fractions and held off favorite Brian P, who settled in the pocket, for the win. Brian P had previously won four straight. It was the 40th career win for Village Blitz, who is trained by his owner, and is just under $700,000 in career earnings.

Drivers Jim Morand, Corey Callahan and Brandon Givens each had three winners on the card. (Harrington)
