Warning Zone, fresh off a Kentucky Sire Stakes championship, won his $12,400 John Simpson Memorial division at The Red Mile on Monday night in a lifetime-best 1:51.3.

Its That Time grabbed his Simpson division in 1:52.4 over heavily-favored MCA. Andy Miller drove the 2-year-old Real Artist colt for trainer Steve Elliott and owner Perfect World Enterprises.

Just like Sunday night, Ron Gurfein won a pair of Simpson divisions for trotters.

Over Ruled won his $12,800 division in 1:56.2. This son of Self Possessed was driven by Mike Lachance for co-owners Status Stables, Jerry Silva, Sampson Street Stables and Mathias Meinzinger.

Kajan Kooker also won his $13,100 Simpson division in 1:56.2 for Gurfein and Lachance. This Self Possessed colt is also owned by Meinzinger, Silva, and Sampson Street Stables.

Yankee Matthew was a 1:56.1 winner in his Simpson division for colt trotters. A son of Muscles Yankee, Yankee Matthew was driven by Dave Palone for trainer Mark Harder, who co-owns the colt with Scott Kurzrok and Stable 45. (Red Mile)
