WEG applies for 2010 race dates

Woodbine Entertainment Group (WEG), with full support from the Central Ontario Standardbred Association (COSA), today announced it has filed its application to the Ontario Racing Commission for 243 Standardbred race days in 2010.

This represents the same number of race days as scheduled between Woodbine and Mohawk Racetracks in 2009, and eight more than are annually called for in the new five-year agreement between WEG and COSA. (WEG)
