WEG drivers meet with ORC senior judge

On Saturday night at Woodbine, just prior to racing, members of the WEG driver colony met with Ontario Racing Commission senior judge Patti Webb to go over a number of issues. The ORC judges have committed to more stringent enforcement of drivers keeping holes filled and maintaining a reasonable pace during conduct of WEG races.

Along with these items, some of the other issues discussed were the current whipping rules and standards , orderly and well-spaced post parades and talking on the track.

"When a new senior judge comes in, we always like to meet with the drivers," says Webb. "They (the drivers) are committed to working with us to ensure the best possible on-track product. These meetings also give them a chance to air any concerns they may have." (WEG)
