Western Gallie edged past favored My Little Dragon in deep stretch to win the $202,000 Nadia Lobell for 3-year-old filly pacers at The Red Mile Sunday night in 1:51.2 over a "good" racetrack. Yannick Gingras sat a pocket trip with Western Gallie behind the leading My Little Dragon and driver Ron Pierce before moving past for the victory. Western Gallie's stablemate, Eternity's Delight, finished third for driver David Miller.

My Little Dragon settled for runner-up honors for the sixth time in eight starts this year while Western Gallie scored her third win in 11 attempts. A daughter of Western Hanover, she is out of the $1.8 million-winning world-champion mare Galleria. The homebred of Arlene and Jules Siegel is trained by Travis Alexander.

A pair of $10,000 eliminations of the Moni Maker for 3-year-old filly trotters were also contested and they were won by Passionate Glide and Four Starz Lindy.

Pierce directed Passionate Glide to her eight win in as many starts this year but it wasn't easy for the Hambletonian Oaks winner. Leading on a tiring track and coming off a month layoff caused the daughter of Yankee Glide to get a bit weary in the final strides, but she had just enough left to hold off Queen Serene and driver Trond Smedshammer in 1:57.2. Susie's Magic and Miller were third.

Brittany Farms bred and owns the winning Passionate Glide, who is trained by Jimmy Takter.

Smedshammer rallied late with Four Starz Lindy to win the second Moni Maker elim in 1:58.2. Simple Task was second for Marcus Johansson while Workout Doll and Tom Sells took third. Cool Muscles, coming off her three-heat victory in the World Filly Trotter Derby, tired to fourth after leading into the stretch for driver Jeff Gregory.

A daughter of Dream Vacation, Four Starz Lindy is trained by Smedshammer for owner Four Starzzz Stable. The win was her second ot the year in eight starts.
