Joey The Jet JT won a three-horse photo to take the $20,000 trot at Dover Downs on Wednesday at Dover Downs.

Racing third from the start following leader Jeter Marvel (Daryl Bier) and Early Shirley (Jack Parker Jr.), driver Ross Wolfenden took advantage of the opportunity to trot down the passing lane with Joey The Jet JT after Early Shirley moved to the outside. All three horses were separated by only a nose at the wire in 1:55.4 with Joey The Jet JT getting the win by the slightest of margins.

Owned by Ken Wood and Bill Dittmar, the Wesgate Crown-NV Becky gelding posted his second victory of the year and upped his seasonal earnings to$24,540. Early Shirley was a nostril in front of third place Jeter Marvel.

In one of two $10,500 male paces, Real Magician rang up driver Tony Morgan's fourth victory and trainer Wayne Givens second scoring a 1:52 triumph for owners Givens and Niel Gargiulo. Ron Short's Charger (George Dennis) was runner-up with JJ Gladiator (Corey Callahan) third.

In another division, Wainui Tabman N dropped down a notch in class and that was good enough as Morgan guiding the Presidential Ball-Gwyneth gelding to a 1:54 victory for Jim Novinger, Wayne Hurtubise and Neil Chesen. Hare Force One (Wolfenden) was a hard-fought second. Art Glass (Callahan) was the show finisher. (Dover Downs)
