The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will host tryouts for the popular television reality show, “The Amazing Race,” from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday.
Couples will be asked to step in front of the camera and tell CBS why they should race around the world for a chance to win $1 million. Show host Phil Keoghan will be at The Meadows signing autographs from 3-5 p.m. The Meadows, which is owned by Cannery Casino Resorts, was the first to open in southwestern “As a true entertainment destination, The Meadows is proud to welcome “The Amazing Race” to our casino,” said Meadows vice president and general manager Michael Graninger. “It should be a lot of fun for everyone.”
It also will provide three featured dining venues: a premier steak house, a specialty restaurant overlooking the racetrack and a diverse food court with micro-restaurants.
