Windsor to open Jan. 23

Windsor Raceway has agreed to a 2005 race schedule approved by the Ontario Racing Commission, thus the track will open Sunday night, Jan. 23, for the first of 131 programs.



Windsor will race Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays through April, when it will switch to a Sunday-Wednesday schedule in May and June. It will then go to a Sunday-Wednesday-Friday rotation in July and August, a Sunday-Wednesay schedule in September, and then finishing out the year again on Sundays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
