Windy City elim held

Georgia Pacific made it look easy in Friday night's $25,000 Windy City Pace elimination at Maywood Park. He led at every pole for driver Andy Miller and finished with a 1:52.1 time.



Georgia Pacific and driver Andy Miller were easy winners over Live Out Loud and Tarver Hanover.Also gaining spots in next Friday night's $350,000 Windy City Pace Final were Artiology, Fox Valley Gallant, Peyote, and Marchand, who were the fourth through seventh place finishers, respectively. Western Terror, a $35,000 supplement to the race who received a bye, will also be in the fiefld.



Failing to advance was Droppin'thehammer, who raced first-up outside of Georgia Pacific from the three-eighths marker on and then gave way in the final quarter-mile.



Georgia Pacific's win was his ninth of the year in 23 starts put him only $3,200 short of one-half million dollars in second year earnings.
