Mildred Ventriglio's Quick And Deadly continued his stellar campaign at Harrington Raceway with a 1:52.3 triumph in the featured $22,000 Open Monday.

Driven by Tony Morgan, the 7-year-old Western Hanover gelding settled fifth behind the early dueling leader Jr. Mint (Brad Hanners), who had Night Mystery (Yannick Gingras) caught on the outside with sizzling early fractions of :26.2 and :54. King Sands N (Ross Wolfenden) was the first to pounce while Quick And Deadly eventually surged by on the final turn and held off late charging Tarver Hanover (Pat Berry), who got up for second.

Quick And Deadly, who has won six of his nine Harrington starts, increased his seasonal earnings to nearly $100,000. (Harrington)
