Stephane Bouchard, Yonkers Raceway's leading driver, won six races during Tuesday night's 10-race card. Bouchard, who drove in all 10 events, wasted no time getting his picture taken, sweeping the $58.50 early daily double with 15-1 Mysteries of Light ($32.20) in the $5,000, opening-race pace and Big Z Credit ($4.20) in the second-race trot. Bouchard aired in the $5,000, third-race pace with odds-on favorite Chocolate Crush ($3.60), then did the same in the $5,000, fifth-race pace with even-money Lavros Orphan N ($4). The 10-year-old gelding Life Moves On ($7.80) was up on the money in the $6,000, seventh-race pace, while Big Million ($14.60)--a late Bouchard catch-drive after his original escort was scratched--snapped a season-long (0-for-20) schneid with a well-rated win in the $8,000, 10th-race pace. Tuesday was the third time Bouchard has won at least a half-dozen races in a 2007 Yonkers' program. He entered the day ranked third and 10th, respectively, in North American dash wins and purses. The 40-year-old Bouchard recently surpassed the 5,900 career victory plateau to go along with more than $41 million in purses. (Yonkers)
