Tioga hosted five divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for 2-year-old pacing fillies on Friday night and in the process the track record was broken three times. The last to do so was Woman Rebels and Jim Morrill Jr. in 1:53.4 for trainer Paul Reid and Perfect World Enterprises of Old Westbury, New York. It was the second win of the season for the Art Major daughter and established a new lifetime mark. Woman Rebels has now banked over $30,000 in only five career starts.

Kissing Bandit won for the second time in her fifth lifetime start for owners The Mentally Stable and Robert Cooper Stable of Florida. The 2-year-old Art Major daughter is trained by Ross Croghan and sports earnings of over $60,000. The mile of 1:54.3 was a new lifetime mark for the freshman who was purchased for $90,000 as a yearling.

Hannah Isabel, Artimittateslife, and On The Catwalk each won their respective divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for freshmen pacing fillies.

Yannick Gingras had a grand slam on the night’s twelve race card while Howard Parker and Larry Stalbaum each posted driving doubles.

Tioga Downs continues live racing action from Nichols, New York on Saturday, September 8th with a post time of 6:50 p.m. (Tioga)
