The Ontario Racing Commission has granted Woodbine Entertainment Group's request to cancel Standardbred racing on Sunday, April 29, due to the shortage of standardbred horses racing at Woodbine. The first leg of the Princess Pacing Series for three year-old fillies will now be held on Monday, April 30. The ORC will also conduct a hearing on Tuesday, May 1 to hear WEG's application to cancel the Standardbred cards on Sunday, May 6, and Sunday, May 13. (WEG)
