The Ontario Racing Commission has approved Woodbine Entertainment Group's request to cancel Standardbred racing on May 6 and May 13, due to the shortage of standardbred horses racing at Woodbine. The dates are the final two Sunday cards of Woodbine's current Standardbred meet. The second leg and the final of the Princess Pacing Series for 3-year-old fillies will now be held on Monday, May 7 and Monday, May 14 (final date of the Woodbine meet), respectively. The Standardbred racing scene shifts to Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, Ont., on Thursday, May 17. First race post-time is 7:20 p.m.
