The Sunday, Feb. 14, edition of the New York Post says driver Jason Bartlett has a new friend: New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain. The two met at the recent Thurman Munson Awards dinner, which benefits the AHRC-New York City Foundation. Both were honored at the dinner.
The report in "The Rumble" says the two "hit it off big time," and Chamberlain and Bartlett were sending text messages to each other following the dinner. Then Chamberlain went to Yonkers to see Bartlett in action before heading to Florida for spring training.
