Yankee Skyscaper won the first of three divisions of the $575,000 Tattersalls for 3-year-old male pacers Saturday afternoon at The Red Mile, and Tell All took the last split with an off-the-pace rally that resulted in a 1:48.3 score.

Driven by Dave Palone, Yankee Skyscaper moved to the lead heading around the final turn to go on to the 1:49 decision.

Finishing second was Running Book for driver Mark MacDonald, with Next Adventure and Mark Evers third.

The win was the son of Artiscape's second straight and fifth overall in 13 attempts this year. Recently transfered to the barn of Illinois-based trainer Erv Miller, Yankee Skyscaper is owned by the Yankee Skyscaper Partners of Versailles, Ky.

Won The West was an upset winner in the second Tattersalls division, crossing the wire in 1:49.1 for driver Greg Grismore. Hot Rod Mindale was second for David Miller, followed by third-place finisher Southwind Lynx and Tim Tetrick.

Won The West, a son of Western Hanover trained by Mickey Burke, won for the 14th time this year in 24 starts. Unraced at two, his career earnings now stand at more than $466,000 for owners Strollin Stable, William Robinson and James Koehler.
