Due to the late-winter inclement weather descending upon the greater New York area, Yonkers Raceway has cancelled both live racing and evening simulcasting on Thursday.
Live racing (and evening simulcasting) is scheduled to resume Friday, Mar. 8, with the usual 7:10 p.m. first post.
Thursday afternoon simulcasting is scheduled to wrap up at approximately 6:15 p.m., while Empire City's casino hours remain unchanged (closing at 4 a.m.).
Horsemen are advised that the draw for Tuesday, Mar. 12, takes places today as scheduled, with the entry box closing at 4 p.m. That card includes the opening leg of the Sagamore Hill Pacing Series. For more information, please contact the race office at (914) 457-2627. (Yonkers)
