A night after Pat Berry and Larry Stalbaum each drove four winners at Yonkers Raceway, Pat Lachance picked up the gauntlet and escorted home four of his very own on Thursday. All four were wagering favorites. Lachance, who drove in all but one of the evening's 10 races, had an early consecutive threepeat. He went wire to wire with the mare Noni N ($5.60) in the $4,000, third-race pace, won the $5,000, fourth-race pace in the passing lane with Hot Rob ($6.50) and the $6,000, sixth-race pace, edging Continental Cam ($5) from the pocket. Lachance won the $9,500, ninth-race pace with a first-over Mostly Hanover ($5.30), who, like Continental Cam, was trained by Dennis Laterza. Stalbaum added a pair of driving victories to his Wednesday escapades. The 32-year-old Lachance is currently fifth among Yonkers' drivers, while he maintains the lead in trainer purses earned.
