Youbet.com launches Conditional Wagering

Youbet.com announced Tuesday that the company has launched an exciting new feature for its Youbet Express customers–Conditional Wagering. The new feature launched last week, and customers are already able to take advantage when wagering at their favorite racetracks.

 “Conditional Wagering is exactly the kind of innovative feature that our customers have come to expect from Youbet,” said Youbet chief operating officer David Goldberg. “For the first time on the Youbet platform, our customers can now set multiple parameters in terms of odds, payoff or timing of a bet. We believe Conditional Wagering will provide a whole new dimension and functionality for our customers.”

Conditional Wagering lets the customer set minimum acceptable odds on Win wagers with a sole betting interest, and minimum probable payoffs on straight Daily Double, Exacta and Quinella wagers. The customer also decides at what time before post the bet should be entered. If the criteria for the bet are not met, the bet does not go to the tote. And as many serious horseplayers are well aware, winning often means knowing when not to wager.

Customers can access the Conditional Wagering feature by installing the latest version of Youbet.com’s proprietary WagerPadPro™ tool. Once installed, the customer logs in to Youbet Express, launches WagerPadPro and then can look for the “Activate Conditional Wagering” link. After an easy one-time activation, the customer simply needs to look for the “Make Conditional” checkbox on every valid Win, Daily Double, Exacta and Quinella wager.

“With Conditional Wagering, customers will no longer have to monitor the toteboard to wager at multiple tracks,” added Goldberg. “They can now place their bets in advance, obtain fair odds and avoid wagering on over-bet horses.
