With the Fan Hanover Stakes final fast approaching co-owner Richard Young is looking forward to the battle between his charge Put On A Show and Fancy Filly. Both fillies won their respected elimination's and are undefeated in four starts this year.
The Rocknroll Hanover miss has already earned $223,400 so far this season with victories in the $175,000 Miss New Jersey final and the $200,000 New Jersey Sires Stakes final.
"Fancy Filly is very versatile and has tremendous gate speed along with finishing speed and has proven to be a tough rival. We are a one-run filly, but when she(Put On A Show) goes I don't know of anyone who has stopped her yet. I think we should win but on the other hand Fancy Filly is very tough," Young told WEG's media department.
She is just $102 shy of becoming a millionaire, a milestone which should easily be accomplished Saturday night. Young co-owns Put On A Show with his wife Joanne and Craig Henderson while Chris Ryder handles the training.
