You're Next--again

You're Next scored his fifth straight victory at Pompano Park Wednesday night, leading from start to finish in the second race trot.



Driven by Wally Hennessey, You're Next started from post six and left right out of the gate, beating out Claytons Valleylad (Wayne Henry) to the opening quarter mile in :29.1.

You're Next cut the mile to the half in 1:00 as Emale Me (Jon Anderson) started moving up on the outside first-over to challenge with Big Komona (Mike Deters) second-over.



As they reached the three-quarters in 1:29.2, Emale Me was in second on the outside but could not pass You're Next and as they came down the stretch, You're Next was an easy winner by one length in 1:58.3 to remain unbeaten. Claytons Valleylad was second with Emale Me third.



Trained by Fred Cohen, You're Next is a 4-year-old gelding by Yankee Paco and is owned by Deborah Sassen of Coral Springs.
