Zeron 6 wins away from 7,000

Driver Rick Zeron added another win to his total on Thursday night at Woodbine to bring his lifetime count to 6,994, just six away from the career milestone of 7,000 wins.
 
In the first race on the 11-race card, Zeron piloted Tony O’Sullivan trainee Born Believer to a 4 1/4-length victory in 1:56.4. Born Believer, a 9-year-old Angus Hall gelding, was one of four drives Zeron had lined up.
 
Zeron is down to drive four horses on Friday night at Woodbine, including 8-5 favorite Cane Ridge in the second leg of the Snowshoe Series for 3- and 4-year-old pacers. (WEG)
