2FT's in PASS at Meadows

Despite rains brought by the remnants of Hurricane Katrina, four Pennsylvania Sire Stakes divisions for 2-year-old filly trotters were contested at The Meadows Tuesday night.

Bye Bye Kerry and trainer-driver Jimmy Takter won the opening division over a "sloppy" track in 2:01.3. The daughter of SJ's Photo is owned by Christina Takter, John Fielding and the Anderberg Stable.

Palone directed Tucson Yankee to a 2:01.4 victory in the second split. The daughter of Lindy Lane is trained by Jan Johnson for Adelaide Skoglund and the Arden Homestead Stable.

Palone came right back to win the third division with Macaria Hanover in 2:00 flat. scored a convincing victory in the night's fastest split. Owned by William Weaver, the daughter of Lindy Lane is trained by Doug Miller.

Takter then drove his second winner of the night when he guided Flamingo Bingo to a wire-to-wire decision in 2:01.1. Christina Takter and Fielding own the daughter of SJ's Caviar.
