Tricky Nick roared from the pocket at the top of the lane, surged past the leader, IC Caviar, and went on to capture Monday's feature at The Meadows, a $12,700 Conditioned Trot.
 
Although IC Caviar enjoyed a fairly comfortable 57.4 on the point, he was no match for the late power of Tricky Nick, who defeated him by 3/4 lengths in 1:56 for Dan Rawlings. Favorite Mac Deeno experienced road problems en route to his third-place finish.
