3 fillies bring $210,000 each in final HB session

Two pacing fillies and a trotting filly were sold for $210,000 each at the final session of the Standardbred Horse Sales Company's annual mixed auction in Harrisburg, Pa., on Friday.
 
Diamond Creek Farm bought the 3-year-old trotting filly Katniss 3, 1:53 (Hip 1559), most certainly a broodmare prospect for the farm, for $210,000. The daughter of Credit Winner is out of Armbro Deja Vu and is thus a full sister to Dejarmbro. Northwood Bloodstock consigned the filly on behalf of Mario Mazza.
 
On the pacing front, trainer Jim Arledge Jr., acting on behalf of Ed Telle of Winchester Bay Acres, had the final bid of $210,000 to take home Safe From Terror p,3, 1:50.4f. The daughter of Western Terror is a half sister to the great Foiled Again. Sold as Hip 1586, Preferred Equine Marketing consigned the filly for Our Horse Cents, Stable 45 and J&T Silva Stables LLC.
 
Band Of Angels p, 3, 1:50 was sold for $210,000 to Willow Oak Ranch of Tennessee. Sold as Hip 1567, Band Of Angels was campaigned this season by William J. Donovan.
 
Hunterton Farm bought Jolene Jolene 2, 1:52.1, a filly by Muscle Hill, for $200,000. The filly's dam is the stakes winning Celebrity Speedie.
