Away last in the field of six, Kandor Hanover erased a 2-1/2-length deficit in the stretch to notch her third straight victory in Monday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Although Kandor Hanover was wide in the lane for Dave Palone, the 1-2 favorite gobbled up the leader, Victory Is Coming, in deep stretch and defeated that rival by 3/4 lengths in 1:55. Hawaiianphotograph rallied for show.

Bill Zendt trains Kandor Hanover, a 5-year-old daughter of Tagliabue-Katelyns Glory, who extended her career bankroll to $425,130, for Online Stables, John Burns and J. Patrick Huber.

Brett Miller drove five winners and Palone three on the 14-race card. (The Meadows)
