It promises to be an exciting weekend of racing action at Eldorado Scioto Downs with Ohio Sire Stakes action highlighting both weekend race cards.

On Friday (July 15), the 3-year-old colt trotters will be in town. The third and most compelling division will go as race 10 of Friday's baker's dozen. It features a rematch of Kanthaka and Another Breath. Only a neck separated the two at the wire in last week's 3-year-old Open in a time of 1:55.2. Kanthaka, trained by trotting guru Chris Beaver, will again by driven by Aaron Merriman and will go to post as the favorite but Another Breath, trained and driven by Hugh Beatty, has revenge on his mind.

On Saturday (July 16), three divisions of 3-year-old colt pacers will do battle on the14-race extravaganza. In race eight, Mr Wiggle Pants drew post position eight in the 10-horse field. The Jim Mulinix trained colt has yet to taste defeat in six starts this season but faces a solid group once again. Kayne Kauffman, who has piloted him to all six of those victories in 2016, will again be at the controls.

Post time for both weekend race cards is set for 6:30 p.m.

A reminder to all fans of the racing action at Eldorado Scioto Downs, there will be a change in our racing schedule for next week's action. We will have double-barrel matinee action on both Monday (July 18) and Tuesday (July 19) with a first post of 2 p.m. Evening harness racing action returns Wednesday and Thursday evenings with a first post of 6:30 p.m.

Eldorado Scioto Downs will be dark for live racing on Friday (July 22) as a Clay Walker concert will take place on the track, but we will be right back at it on Saturday evening (July 23) with a first post time of 6:30p.m. (Scioto Downs)
