The 4-year-old pacer Little More Faith posted his fifth win of the year when he scored at Pompano Park on Wednesday in 1:55.1.

Driven from post four by Bruce Ranger, Little More Faith settled in fourth place through the early stages as Time Slips Away (Gaston Lareau) took the field through opening fractions of :27.4 and :57.4. As the field made its way down the backstretch, Ranger angled Little More Faith off the pylons to grab the cover of Town Lover (Anthony Napolitano) before making a strong three-wide move to pass that rival while pushing his way towards the front.

Little More Faith wrestled the lead away from Time Slips Away through a three-quarters split in 1:25.3 and took control of the race on the final turn. The son of Cole Muffler entered the stretch with a 4 ½-length advantage, before coasting home to a three-length triumph at the wire.

Owned by Thunder and Lightning Farms Inc., and Michael Kabnick, and trained by the Ranger Stable\'s Tom Beckette, Little More Faith has won five of 11 starts at Pompano this year, including a streak of three consecutive triumphs in mid-February. (Pompano Park press release)
