You may not know Mr. Delite, a 3-year-old by The Panderosa, but he's making a name for himself at Woodbine, where he's now won two of three starts, with the latest a 1:51.4 effort Saturday night. He defeated American Ideal by a handy two lengths.

Mr. Delite is trained by Bob McIntosh and was driven by Jack Moiseyev. While Moiseyev put his youngster on the front, betting favorite American Ideal was lagging behind in a serious way. He was 9 1/2 lengths back at the quarter and 14 1/2 lengths back at the half.

Mr. Delite won one of seven starts as a freshman and took a mark of 1:57.4 at Flamboro Downs. American Ideal was making his first start back after a layoff. In January he won the Count B Series at Woodbine.
