The Meadows Standardbred Owners’ Association (MSOA) has announced an agreement, set forth  between the MSOA and the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.

The two-year contract paves the way for 208 days of racing each year, and forges a good working relationship between horsemen and track management.

\"The MSOA Board of Directors, especially the Negotiating Committee, worked very hard to come to terms with management,” Kim Hankins, MSOA executive director, said. “With this contract\'s execution, we look forward to accomplishing long- and short-term goals with track management to better the plight of our members and all horsemen racing at The Meadows.

“With the infusion of the slot generated purses and increased horsemen\'s benefits, it becomes incumbent upon both parties to cooperate to ensure the continued bright future of harness racing at The Meadows Racetrack and Casino.\" (MSOA)
