Pizza Dolce may have been the fastest of the three Kentucky Sire Stakes 3-year-old filly trot elimination winners at The Red Mile Friday night (Sept. 5), but don't discount Alix Hall or Mom's Millionaire in the Sept. 12 final.

Alix Hall outgamed a tough Up Front Kay and Frisky Fergi to win her elim in 1:56.3. Jan Johnson trains and drives the Conway Hall filly who won for the second time in eight starts this year.

As for Mom's Millionaire, the Pine Chip filly turned it around with a 1:57.3 victory in the final elim. Mom's Millionaire came into the contest off of two poor performances in the World Filly Trotting Derby where she trailed by more than 30 lengths in each heat. With Markus Johansson driving, Mom's Millionaire got up late in the stretch to defeat Mass Protest and Love You More.
