The owners of All Bets Off and Hickory Lane Farm have mutually agreed to end the agreement to have the stallion stand stud at Hickory Lane in 2017.
All Bets Off tested to be very fertile and would have been well received as a stallion in Ohio. However, with the lucrative purses All Bets Off would be eligible to race for and the fact he is an extremely sound and durable horse, his owners decided to delay his stud career.
He will race in 2017 with the hope that he will ultimately retire as the richest son of Bettor's Delight.
Out of the Dexter Nukes mare Armbro Penelope, All Bets Off currently has accumulated $2.198 million in purse money. His most recent triumph was in the inaugural edition of the $100,000 Potomac Pace at Rosecroft Raceway on Nov. 22.
The stallion is a half sibling to Armbro Vagarious (Camluck, $168,599), Respectednbeloved (Dream Away, $173,102) and Armbro Carruthers (Camluck, $341,878). He is a full brother to Penny Pincher ($253,208). (Larry Karr)
