Friday night's (March 7) $30,000 A/FFA pace for mares at Meadowlands Racetrack proved to be the fourth straight success for the vastly improved American In Paris.

The American Ideal mare has really moved forward for Ron Burke, winning her four most recent starts with the addition of Lasix.

This edition was another gate-to-wire trip conducted by Yannick Gingras. Fast out of the gate to the front in :26.3, Gingras eased her through a soft middle half then outsprinted her rivals home in :27.2 to close out the 1:50.4 score. Lorrie Please was second and Monkey On My Wheel third.

The win continued the unbeaten season for American In Paris, perfect in four outings with $45,000 in the books for the Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi.
