Brittany Farms' racing manager Myron Bell told harnessracing.com Monday morning that American Jewel, fresh off her world-record 1:48.2 victory in the $642,000 Fan Hanover final at Mohawk Racetrack, will be a $15,000 supplemental entry to Saturday's James Lynch Memorial at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.

In Saturday's Fan Hanover, driver Tim Tetrick cleared to the lead at the :26.2 opening quarter with American Jewel and never looked back, holding off stablemate Romantic Moment by one length. The time lowered the world record for 3-year-old filly pacers that was shared by Dancinwiththestarz and Strike An Attitude by two-fifths of a second.

With the win, American Jewel's 10th in 12 career starts, the daughter of American Ideal surpassed the $1-million mark in career earnings. She is trained by Jimmy Takter.
