Another boycott settled

According to reports, the Ontario Harness Horse Association and Western Fair Raceway have signed a new racing contract that will allow racing to resume Monday, Jan. 9.

The contract calls for the traditional 50/50 split of revenues from pari-mutuel racing. Management at one point had held firm on a deal for a 50/50 split only if the horsemen settled for fewer live racing dates than they wished.
