Armbro Dynamic ($6.80), given a head-up drive by Wally Hennessey, captured the $14,000 feature pace at the isle pompano park on Saturday, silencing the competition with a 1:52 performance.

The five year-old son of Western Hanover darted out of the gate from post five into an early lead only to relinquish the top spot, briefly, to Mahdi, who looped the field from the outside post for Joe Pavia, Jr. to take the field to the quarter in :27.2.

Hennessey, though, was not content in the garden spot and quickly reclaimed the lead past the half in :56.2.

During a :27.3 third panel, Armbro Dynamic repelled the challenge of Sugar’s Pride (Bruce Ranger), and outsprinted that one to the wire to score by a half length, just a fifth of a second off of his lifetime best.  Mahdi finished third.

For Armbro Dynamic, owned by Souren Hovsepian along with Rod Lorenzo and trained by Michile Lorenzo, it was his sixth win in 18 starts this year and pushed his lifetime earnings to $176,465. (Pompano)
