Sharky Osborne won the $37,500 Preferred/Handicap, Poppy Lustre N, the Delaware Special, and Ross The Boss N the $28,500 Open Pace on one of the fastest cards ever at Dover Downs on Monday.

Brian Sears left quickly with Gary Minner and Pete Richardson\'s Sharky Osborne to take the lead and maintain the front the rest of the way in a 1:50.2 victory in the $37,500 feature. Gold Dust Beach, handled by David Miller, closed on the inside to finish second with the Ron Pierce-driven Beware Beret taking third money. The win was the fifth in 10 starts the year for the Cam\'s Card Shark gelding pushing his seasonal bankroll to $78,625 and $224,574 lifetime.

Poppy Lustre N, with Tim Tetrick driving for Ricky Pryor and Wendy Crissman, returned to her winning ways in the $35,000 Delaware Special, stopping the timer in 1:51.1. Clinton Longshot and Sears had the early lead and finished second with Art Director finishing third for the third consecutive time with Pierce. Poppy Lustre N has won four of her last five starts and six of 11 in 2006 for meet leading trainer Chuck Crissman.

Ken Wood\'s Ross the Boss N moved out of third around before the quarter and after taking the lead for Roger Plante continued on to register a 1:52 conquest in the $28,500 Open Pace. Quick And Deadly came from far back under the urging of Tony Morgan to finish second with the Brandon Givens-driven Coldheartedrevenge getting up for third.

A 46-1 shot, Wattie N, owned by Blutstein, Donahue, Vitale and Sackheim, and in his first local start since arriving from Yonkers, raced along the passing lane with Brad Hanners to get up to win in 1:52.2 in the first of three $21,000 winners-over paces.

Dan and Tom Courtemanche\'s Bobnoxious, who usually races big miles on the lead, enjoyed a two-hole trip in a $21,000 winners-over pace and Tim Curtin tipped the 7 year old to the outside in the stretch to overpower six rivals in a 1:51.4 victory. Armbro David came on for Sears to finish second in front of a tiring Ramblin Bunny and Pierce who cut out the fractions and held on for third.

Pierce picked up his second of three wins steering Sarah\'s Legacy to a 1:53.3 decision for owners Mark Akins and Lorenzo DeSimone. It was the second win for conditioner John Cabot. Architect (Miller) sat second the entire journey. Tug River Walter (Wolfenden) was third.

A change to an inside post was all Fuzzy Sylverun, owned by Rodney Long and Tim Hundertpfund, needed in a 1:52.4 from along the passing lane in a $15,000 male pace. Bully McCool N (Tetrick) came on to finish second in front of Vantastic Wizzard (Pierce). (Dover Downs)
