Big Q for No Pan Intended

No Pan Intended turned in a powerful qualifying effort at Scioto Downs Tuesday morning (Sept. 9), waltzing through a 1:53 mile that featured a last half in :55.



With David Miller in the sulky for trainer Ivan Sugg, No Pan Intended rolled through fractions of :27.4, :58 and 1:26 before pacing a : 27 final quarter.



No Pan Intended, a son of Pacific Fella, owned by the Peter Pan Stable of Ohio. If he would win the Jug, the colt would be the first Ohio-owned horse to capture the pacing Classic since 1973, when Melvin's Woe won the race for Thurman Downing of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
