Bill's Man, who equaled a divisional track record the last time he raced at Harrah's Philadelphia, came back to the southeast Pennsylvania oval Thursday afternoon and won the $18,000 trotting feature in 1:53.1.
The victorious 4-year-old Credit Winner stallion had to go uncovered from entering the second turn against tough foe Moonshiner Hanover, who put up early fractions of :27.1 and :56.2. Bill's Man had joined him before the 1:24.3 three-quarters and the two were in a virtual match race most of the last quarter, with Bill's Man edging clear by a length for driver Corey Callahan, trainer John Butenschoen, and the ownership of Crawford Farms Racing, M And L Of Delaware, and VIP Internet Stable.
Bill's Man has won $662,074 for his owning triumvirate. (Harrah's Philadelphia/PHHA)
