Although John Campbell didn't drive for the first time in 2004 until April 2 after needing extra rehabilitation for his injured right arm hurt in a racing accident a year ago March, it's obvious he wasn't forgotten. Campbell has quickly worked his way into the mix at the Meadowlands since he returned and on Saturday night (May 1) he was named to drive seven horses among the 21 entered in the Berry's Creek elims.

Campbell, who has won 17 times in 99 starts (through April 27) this year, was down to drive three horses in the first $25,000 Berry's Creek elim and then was named on four in the second elim.

Campbell's choices in the first elim are: Mantacular, for trainer Larry Rathbone; Driven To Win, for trainer Joe Holloway; and Cardholder, for trainer Brett Pelling. In the second elim Campbell was named on: Grissini, for trainer Pelling; Up Front Ohio, for trainer Mark Ford; Tricky Grin, for trainer Noel Daley; and Kenny The Cowboy N, for trainer Ross Croghan.
